Chris Paddie is the General
Manager of
KMHT
Radio in Marshall and is a stockholder and director of Hanszen Broadcast Group Inc., which
purchased KMHT in 2002. In addition to his management of the day to day operations of KMHT,
Paddie also hosts a daily talk show, ”
The Talk of East Texas”, and is involved in other on-air
activities, including doing play-by-play of
Marshall Maverick football on KMHT. Chris
Paddie is a graduate of
Carthage High School and a 1996 graduate of
Texas A&M
University. He is married to Brooke Hanszen Paddie and they have two sons, Christopher and
Noah. Since moving to Marshall in 2002, Paddie has become an active member of the
community. He currently serves as the Chairman of the
Greater Marshall Chamber of Commerce, President of the
Boys & Girls Club of the Big Pines, a board member of the
Texas
Association of Broadcasters, a board member and volunteer for the Junior Achievement Program,
and a member of the Marshall High School Career and Technology Advisory Council. Additionally,
Paddie is a member of the
Marshall Rotary Club and he and his family are
active members of
Central Baptist Church in
Marshall. Paddie recently entered the area of public service even more, when he was
elected to the
Marshall City Commission
in May of 2008. When not working or serving his community, Paddie enjoys playing golf and
spending time with his family.
